We had the morning to sleep in, hang out and do some laundry. I went with a group to the local mall. While the kids and leaders shopped or watched a movie, I had my nails done and read my book. It was glorious and so relaxing!
That evening Dave arranged for us to go to a rodeo and have a BBQ buffet beforehand. The kids were so excited; many of them went to Wal-Mart to get new outfits or gear for the rodeo. It was a fun day spent deepening new friendships and adjusting back to normal American life together.
