The Orts always host a BBQ in the evening for the fourth. We lounged at my parents and the kids played next door at the Johnsens before we went up to the Orts. It's very low key, but a fun way to end the evening. Typically we stay for fireworks, but with no naps and BJ gone (he left after the parade on a boys trip), it was bedtime for the kids.
