We started going to the Normandy Park Assisted Living Home a few Valentine's Days ago. We thought it would be nice to come back six months later too. We made "happy summer" cards and brought individually wrapped Life Savers to share. The residents loved seeing the kids dolled up in their matching clothes and many asked if I made the dresses myself (yeah, right)! The kids enjoyed passing out the cards and candy while stretching themselves to converse with essential strangers. Quite a few of them remembered us from over the years and we happy to see us return. The ladies were especially excited to see Kristen, while she was more interested in the Life Savers.
