delayed oscar party

The Oscars are always on the last weekend in February, but this year the closing ceremonies for the Olympics were that weekend, so the Oscars were pushed back.  Carol and Kelli had already planned a vacation to Hawaii.  We all promised to have a media blackout and watch the Oscars together a few days later.

Carol decorated the house with movie posters, a giant cutout Oscar, and even a mini Oscar for us to hold.  We all surprised each other with our costumes and were in hysterics looking at one another.  Ashley had to teach a class that night, so she texted us a photo of her costume (that she dressed up the day before).

We had great food and lots of laughs as usual!
