Friday was filled with all sorts of fun treats and surprises! Justin and Kaitlin got new Husky gear from my mom that they immediately put on for school. Then I took them out for Starbucks before school. Haley and Kristen got to ride in the car-cart at the grocery store (I typically avoid that thing at all costs). In the afternoon, my mom took Haley out to lunch and to buy new shoes. While Haley was gone, Kristen got a long, warm bath (her absolute favorite thing).
Finally at the Ballasts house, after a fun dinner and while the big kids were watching Frozen, Kristen surprised us and took her first independent steps. Sadie had done it just hours before and so Kristen was just keeping up with her. It was so cute to see the girls walking! Thankfully Haley Ballast got it on video for us!
