mini date

We only let the kids do "educational" stuff on their Kindles during the week.  On the weekends, they can play apps and watch movies, so they are pretty into them.  One Saturday, the kids had a late snack and weren't hungry for dinner yet.  BJ and I had pad thai take-out and were starving.  He and I sat down for a mini-date while the kids were completely quiet.  Kristen was bopping around on the floor and in the girls' room reading books.
