portland marathon

I ran my second marathon on October 5th in Portland.  It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining!  Many people told me to run the Portland Marathon because it's organized so well and the swag bag is really good.  I was not disappointed.  Running through Old Town Chinatown was amazing, there was TONS of authentic musicians and performers to entertain us.  Also the course was filled with music, I'm pretty sure there were more stages than any Rock'n'Roll series run that I've done.  It wasn't smart to run a marathon after running a 50k trail run as one's body needs much more recovery, but I felt really good and had a blast!
