When the kids picked out their school shoes with Grandma Becky, the Nordstrom employees told us about a "shoe tying" event they were having a few weeks later. We just happened to have late soccer games that day. I took Kaitlin and Justin there. It wasn't some spectacular class that every child needs to take, but it was good to have some shoe tying practice with an instructor that's not the kids' parents. After the class, we headed off to soccer.
