workbooks

This summer while the little girls are napping, Justin and Kaitlin have been doing workbook pages.  I tore out all the pages of each workbook, changed the order of the pages, punched wholes in the pages, and put them in a notebook.  The kids have a divider that keeps their spot.  They find the next three pages (one reading/writing, one math, and one other), slide them into a clear protective sheet, and use dry erase markers to complete the worksheet.

They usually grumble and complain about doing them, but it's been good for them. It has kept their skills up, taught them a new thing or two, and been a great calming activity during the crazy summer days.
